Are you an experienced SHEQ Compliance Lead within the utilities industry, looking for your next career move?

We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team at OCU Group, based in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. As the SHEQ Compliance Lead, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence and client satisfaction by leading internal audits, scheduling, maintaining compliance registers, and overseeing general business compliance.

What We Are Looking For:

You will be the primary contact with a main focus on CDM and Frameworks, while fostering a culture of quality across the organisation. Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the development and maintenance of OCU’s SHEQ Management System to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and industry standards.
• Assisting with external audits and maintaining up-to-date compliance practices.
• Guiding operational teams to stay compliant with changing legislation and communicating these changes effectively.
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and auditors.

To succeed in this role, 

You should be qualified with a NEBOSH General / Construction standard or equivalent and have significant experience in Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality. Additionally, holding a CQI / IRCA Internal Auditor certification is preferred.
