Senior Finance System Analyst

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Finance System Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement of our finance systems. You will act as a bridge between finance and technology, driving system enhancements, process automation, and troubleshooting financial system issues.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Development:
- Evaluate and enhance finance business processes to drive efficiency and integrity, ensuring compliance with internal policies, external regulations and industry standards.
- Align with PMO to ensure system integrations are correctly implemented with ongoing support when brought into BAU.
- Designing of new D365 processes in collaboration with the ERP team’s functional and technical architects.
Data Integrity & Maintenance:
- Ensure process integrity and compliance with central documentation.
- Review master financial data processes and compliance.
- Monitor transactional data and support SME’s in the timely resolution of any inaccuracies.
Technical Support & Assurance:
- Provide expert guidance and training on D365 best practices for all Finance users.
- Support on the use of custom Power Apps for the wider business.
- Leverage data analytics from D365 F&O to provide actionable insights that support business decision-making and performance improvement.
- Support quarterly D365 upgrade testing and roll out, minimising disruption for the business.
- Assist in the seamless system migration of acquired entities.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with Finance stakeholders across Transactions, Reporting and FP&A to ensure GAAP compliance across all Finance processes.
- Empower and educate D365 SMEs.
- Support various ad-hoc finance projects as required.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Finance System Analyst or similar role.
- Fully or part-qualified in CIMA, ACCA, or ACA.
- Strong understanding of finance processes, reporting, and accounting principles.
- Hands-on experience with the finance system D365.
- Proficiency in SQL, BI tools, and data analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise between finance and IT teams.
