As a Planner, you will be responsible for the production of programmes for the Design, Procurement, Construction, Installation & Commissioning activities for each project from inception, feasibility, tender and bid phases through to completion; also liaising with construction and site personnel to update programmes, reviewing the progress of programmes on a regular cycle and assessing, producing of management insight and reporting.
The project types range from large EHV cabling, substation construction to new energy low carbon build projects.
Experience you need to be considered?
- Proven experience as a Planner, and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to build and update programmes throughout the duration and life cycle of Projects.
- Background in large infrastructure type projects within Power, Utilities, construction.
- HNC (Construction related) or equivalent.
- Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of project controls, planning and construction activities.
- Computer literate with a good working knowledge of planning and controls tools and techniques, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6
- Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card – Visitor – Yellow (can be obtained).
