OCU Group is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Warrington. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-profile energy and utilities projects across the region.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will lead the commercial and contractual management of complex projects, ensuring cost efficiency, compliance, and client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have experience within the Power sector
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control project costs, identifying savings and managing variances.
- Oversee contract preparation, negotiation, and administration, including variations and claims.
- Manage procurement processes and subcontractor negotiations.
- Provide strategic advice on cost planning and risk mitigation.
- Produce regular cost reports and forecasts for stakeholders.
- Support and guide project teams on contractual and commercial matters.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
- Experience working with FIDIC
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quantity surveying software.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
