The Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, youâll be the commercial lead on a major framework delivering civil works on the electrical network. Youâll work closely with operational teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure accurate quoting, fair claims auditing, and timely invoicing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead annual and quarterly quoting programmes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Audit subcontractor claims and foster open, collaborative relationships.
- Own and manage dispute resolution strategies.
- Raise and manage invoices and applications through to payment.
- Support operational teams with commercial insight and contract management.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in civil or building maintenance (fencing, brickwork, roofing preferred).
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Confident with work management software and collaborative tools.
- Skilled in managing contract variations and claims.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
Qualifications:
- Full UK Driving Licence (required).
- Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or a related field (required).
- Working towards or holding RICS/CIOB membership (desired).
