Class 2 Driver
We currently have a requirement for HGV Drivers to join our busy Lincolnshire Depot. The purpose of the role will be to assist in the movement of materials, plant and consumables in and around the operation requirements . The ideal candidate will have already gained experience of driving a hot box although training will be provided if required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To carry out as requested all Operational functions in line with safe working practice.
- Driving and operating the equipment in line with manufacturers specifications
- A duty of care to yourself ,your colleges and the general public.
- Carry out Daily vehicle checks and report any issues to relevant staff member.
- Ensure all Inspections and Services are upheld for the vehicle and equipment.
- PPE as required must be worn at all times.
- Ensure your required productivity levels are maintained
- Ensure all required documentation is kept up to date
- Drivers Daily Log Sheets
- Defect Reporting
- To carry out any projects or functions commensurate with your abilities as the company shall at its discretion determine.
Skills and Experience:
- HGV Licence (minimum Class 2)
- Drivers CPC
- Street Works (desirable)
- Previous experience of driving a hot box although training can be given
