Finance Administrator

OCU Borehamwood are seeking an experienced Finance Assistant / Cost controller to join the team on the Open Reach contract.
In order to be successful you will have :
- Processed invoices, expense claims, and other financial documents accurately and efficiently.
- Developed accurate and consistent pricing documents
- Liaised with different teams to collect information for pricing calculations.
- Accepting, progressing, and closing jobs in specific management software.
- Kept track of any external cost generated by workflow.
- Pricing of civil, build and survey work done on site
- Prepared special financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising account information.
- Perform data entry tasks related to financial transactions and ensured accuracy and completeness of records.
- Analysed financial data and providing high standard reports to specific deadlines
- Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects as required.
You would need to show previous proven experience in the following:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Administrator, Finance Assistant, or Previous experience in a Utilities/Construction environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
- Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Prior experience in accounts/ math / statistic and invoice processing is preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with integrity.
