Operations Coordinator
OCU Group are currently looking for a strong Coordinator to join our team, covering a 12 month Maternity.
The purpose of the role is to support the smooth running of day-to-day business operations. The role involves coordinating administrative and operational activities, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting teams across the organisation to achieve business objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for operational queries, providing guidance and support to internal teams.
- Coordinate daily business operations including scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and databases to ensure compliance with company and legal requirements.
- Support the Operations Manager with planning, process improvement, and project delivery.
- Liaise with external suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Monitor KPIs, service levels, and operational performance, escalating issues where necessary.
- Assist in budget tracking, invoice processing, and procurement activities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements.
- Provide administrative support including preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence.
Skills and experience:
Essential:
- Previous experience in an administrative, coordination, or operations support role.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of compliance requirements relevant to the industry.
- Familiarity with project management tools or CRM systems.
