The Opportunity
We are recruiting Site Supervisors to support our SSEN contracts across West London and the M4/M40 corridor. You’ll be at the forefront of substation build and refurbishment, cabling, and overhead line work (11–132 kV). This role offers clear career progression into Site Management and Project Management, backed by long-term project security and OCU’s ongoing expansion.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supervising site teams and subcontractors.
- Leading daily briefings, safety documentation (RAMS, Permits, Toolbox Talks).
- Overseeing quality inspections and ITP completion.
- Ordering plant, materials, and managing temporary works.
- Cost and programme management.
- Collating documentation and as-built records.
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- SSEN CAT 3 Authorisation (essential)
- SSSTS / SMSTS
- First Aid at Work (mandatory)
- Recognised Civil or Electrical Qualification
- Strong IT literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
- Willingness to travel and occasionally lodge away
