OCU Group are looking for a Works Coordinators to join our growing teams in Leeds, Stourton.
Role Overview:
As a Works Coordinator, you will be responsible for scheduling and overseeing operational activities, managing compliance across all works, and ensuring clear communication between teams, clients, and contractors. You playing a vital role in coordinating day-to-day operations and ensuring our work runs smoothly, safely, and in compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination & Scheduling
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate works across multiple projects.
- Develop and maintain job schedules, resource allocation plans, and daily/weekly work programs.
- Monitor project progress and adjust staffing or schedules as required to meet deadlines.
- Liaise with project managers, supervisors, and field teams to ensure all work is efficiently assigned and completed.
Worksite & Compliance Management
- Coordinate permits, access requirements, safety documentation, and site inductions.
- Support site audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Assist in managing quality control and ensuring work meets
Communication & Stakeholder Liaison
- Act as a central contact between field technicians, clients, subcontractors and internal teams.
- Provide regular updates on job status, variations, delays, and resource needs.
- Manage client queries and ensure high standards of customer service.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including job sheets, work orders, purchase orders, and completion reports.
- Assist with reporting on performance metrics, job costs, and project outcomes.
Resource Coordination
- Allocate technicians and subcontractors based on skill set, and project requirements.
Skills and Qualifications:
Essential
- Experience coordination, administration, or scheduling roles.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Competency with project management or scheduling software.
