Streetworks Coordinator (Weekends)
OCU Group have a fantastic opportunity for a Streetworks Coordinator to join our team on a part time basis, based in our Leeds, Seacroft office.
This role offers weekend hours, making it ideal for university students looking to earn extra income alongside their studies. However, we welcome applications from anyone seeking part-time weekend work, whether you're looking to gain experience, supplement your income, or balance work with other commitments.
Working pattern consists of: Friday - 12:30pm – 16:30pm / Saturday - 8:00am – 16:00pm / Sunday - 8:00am – 16:00pm

This role will involve handling Streetworks notices, making sure they meet current regulations. You’ll also check client systems to meet any specific needs and keep in touch with operational staff to support smooth project delivery. Part of your job will include recording and updating data in work management systems, keeping clients informed with regular updates, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is in place before work starts.
What we are looking for:
Ideally the successful candidate will have experience with streetworks coordination, liaising with the council and organising permits for work.
However, we are open to applications from candidates with the below attributes:
- Strong team player but also able to work as an individual.
- Strong administrative experience.
- Previous experience within a similar role in the Utilities industry is desirable.
- Understanding of NRSWA compliance procedures (Desirable not essential).
- Ability to prioritise a varied workload and demonstrate good time management to comply with deadlines.
- Able to work in a busy environment under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills (email/phone/face to face).
- Possess a “can do” attitude and provide support to other members of the team as required.
