We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team based in Peterborough.
As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be responsible for driving the recruitment process across the group, ensuring that the company attracts, recruits, and retains top talent. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and deliver candidates who align with the company's values and culture. You will be a key partner in building a strong talent pipeline and enhancing the overall candidate experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
Recruitment Strategy Development:
- Partner with hiring managers to define recruitment needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
- Collaborate on forecasting workforce requirements and workforce planning.
- Proactively develop a diverse talent pipeline using a variety of channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and talent mapping.
Sourcing and Screening:
- Use a variety of tools and platforms to attract candidates, including LinkedIn, job boards, and recruitment agencies.
- Conduct initial phone screens, interviews, and assessments to evaluate candidate qualifications, cultural fit, and potential.
- Manage the candidate experience from initial contact through the hiring process, ensuring timely communication and feedback.
Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand the specific needs of each role and assist with the interview process.
- Provide advice and guidance to hiring managers on best practices for interviewing, candidate selection, and hiring decisions.
- Build relationships with internal teams and external recruitment partners to enhance recruitment effectiveness.
Data and Reporting:
- Maintain and manage recruitment databases, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and other tools.
- Report on recruitment metrics and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) such as time to hire, cost per hire, and candidate quality.
- Ensure compliance with all recruitment-related legal requirements, policies, and procedures, especially concerning equality and diversity.
Candidate Experience and Onboarding:
- Ensure candidates have a positive experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Assist with coordinating the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organisation.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, ideally in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Experience recruiting in the Utilities/Construction industry.
- Experience/Knowledge of CIS (Construction Industry Scheme).
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law, recruitment processes, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and advise stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards, and social media platforms.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of diversity and inclusion initiatives and a commitment to driving diversity within the recruitment process.
- Full UK Driving License and willing to travel.
