Panel Wireperson
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Panel Wireperson to join our dynamic team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the assembly, wiring, and testing of electrical control panels in accordance with technical drawings and company standards.
The working hours -
Monday - Thursday - 7.30am-4.30pm
Friday - 7am-1pm
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and wire control panels as per engineering drawings and workshop documentation.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
- Perform system testing and quality checks in accordance with our Quality System Testing procedures.
- Identify and report any discrepancies in “as-built” drawings.
- Assist with on-site commissioning or modifications when required.
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of electrical control principles and ability to read electrical schematics.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as electrical testing equipment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineers, designers, and clients.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
Desirable Skills
- Mechanical assembly experience.
- Busbar fabrication and pipefitting skills.
- Recognised electrical qualifications.
