Assistant Quantity Surveyor
At OCU, we’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team.
You’ll support the delivery of high-impact construction and utility projects across the UK, helping us lead the way in energy transition and infrastructure innovation.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll work closely with senior quantity surveyors and project teams to:
Assist in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Support tendering and procurement processes.
Help administer contracts, variations, and valuations.
Monitor project costs and identify opportunities for savings.
Measure and value completed works for interim and final payments.
Contribute to risk management and mitigation strategies.
What We’re Looking For
A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Internship or previous experience in a similar role (desirable).
Good understanding of cost control, contracts, and procurement.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant software.
Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
